Excelsior Black!

Excelsior Black is another First Lego League team. They also have a solution to problems astronauts face in space. Their solution is a Centrifuge and Commons. A centrifuge is a circular platform that spins at a certain speed. When the circle spins, it pushes any objects away from the axis. This means that, if it spins at a certain speed, it will create artificial gravity. The artificial gravity will prevent many physical problems, such as weakening bones, immune system decline, and muscle deterioration. The other part of Excelsior Black's project is the commons. Having a common room will improve an astronaut's mental state, creating an opportunity for better work and long term psychotic stability as opposed to not having a common room. They will place the commons inside the centrifuge. along with exercise equipment to help strengthen the astronauts. That is the main Idea of Excelsior Black's project!
